10 Reasons to visit Myanmar in 10 Stunning pictures

Location: Myanmar

Picture of Myanmar. I personally had never considered in my life to go to Myanmar, that is because for 48 years the country was ruled by a military junta that suppressed almost every dissent. The generals who ran the country were accused of gross human rights abuses, including the forcible relocation of civilians and the widespread use of forced labour, including children. Myanmar has been charming and spiritual, I found it a truly fascinating and unique place to visit with rich cultural authenticity and friendly people. I think Myanmar is extremely different from other Southeast Asian countries.

Just consider for a moment to live a full day in Myanmar, well, it’s exactly the same to see this list of 10 pictures! Enjoy it….

Over the last 3 weeks, I have been reading and seeing pictures of Burma and now I really feel like heading there. Bagan looks just so beautiful – I sure would love to capture those hot air balloons over the pagoda. Thanks for adding fuel to my already fired up wanderlust for Myanmar!

Myanmar is so lovely, and it is becoming such a popular destination. As you said, for 48 year the rule was horrid and many travelers stayed away.
