We tend to collect one item from each country or city we visit, but why? Most travel souvenirs don’t cost a lot, but allow us to keep a memory of that place inside our hearts.

My Travel Mugs Collection

My name is Davide, and I haven’t been everywhere, but being everywhere is definitely on my bucket list. 😉 Every time I come back home after a trip, I like to sit back, relax, and look at my coffee mug collection. It’s not just a look, but it takes me back to a memory I have about each place I’ve visited in my lifetime. Not just mugs, but I also have a travel books collection, right now just Lonely Planet.

I know people like collecting various items, like magnets, which are easy to find and can be really unique. People collect postcards, and overtime can do something really creative with them, like make a map of the places they have visited. Or even ash trays. You don’t need to be a smoker, but you can find some really unique ashtrays out there.

I’m curious as to what the rest of you out there collect. Flags? Shot glasses? Playing cards? Jewelry? Please Share. 🙂
